Steve Martin took to social media to share that the show ‘You Won’t Believe What They Look Like Today’ has been postponed to December due to “rampant Covid” in his crew
The COVID-19 has forced the postponement of concerts. The gigs, which were scheduled to take place at Wynn in Las Vegas on Friday and Saturday, have been postponed, according to Martin. He revealed this on X, formerly known as Twitter, saying that "rampant Covid in our crew and one other essential guy" were to blame.
Dear supporters and foes, Unfortunately, due to widespread Covid in our crew and the absence of one more crucial member, our sold-out performances at the Wynn in Las Vegas this Friday and Saturday will have to be postponed.
The 78-year-old comic wrote: "We apologise for any inconvenience, but we are moving to mid-December, where your tickets will be honoured with an added 'date-moving tax' of $9,000."
Alongside Selena Gomez, Martin and Short are currently seen in the third season of their popular comedy series Only Murders in the Building. As a result of Kimmel's COVID-19 diagnosis, American TV celebrities' scheduled live taping of an edition of their podcast Strike Force Five has also been cancelled.
For the episode's recording on Saturday, Kimmel, Fallon, and Colbert were scheduled to appear at the Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas. "Well, Las Vegas, I got Covid, and regrettably, we have to postpone the Strike Force Three concert this weekend. If I made my pals from back home ill, I could never live with myself, Kimmel said on X.
